Environmental Management

Here at Nairobi Mamba Village we are conscious about our surrounding environment, as we are located in the finest locations in Nairobi and we feel it only right to work in equilibrium with nature. Bearing this in mind we believe in the concept that "what we abstract from nature we ought to replace".

Indigenous trees that conceal any sign of environmental degradation when one approaches or simply passes by seclude the Nairobi Mamba Village and Mokoyeti Resort. These trees were planted decades ago creating a sense of seclusion. Today, trees are continually being planted to fight the ever-pending environmental concerns.

Regarding the developments; we have been determined to landscape and construct with the utmost care of the surrounding environment.

Energy consumption is monitored and controlled via approved energy conservation methods. This process makes use of natural resources thus not only reducing the cost of fuels but also the damage that they may release to the external environment.

Waste Management disposal has been given special attention to. Nairobi Mamba Village effluent, which consists of sewer, kitchen, laundry and pool effluent, is collected in specialised septic tanks and subsequently undergoes treatment. The same treatment procedures are monitored and observed to ensure compliance with city by laws

The Sewerage plant is designed in simplicity to suit the locality and efficient enough to handle and carry out the eventual effluent of Nairobi Mamba Village. It is easy to maintain making use of environmentally friendly bio-chemicals.

Water Treatment in Nairobi Mamba Village is done continuously. Our water is harnessed from an underground borehole. Primary treatment of the water is carried out in the collection tank at the source followed by a secondary treatment at the Mamba's main water tanks. Samples of the water are often taken to the Kenyan Bureau of Standards for sample testing and conformity reports obtained.
